Pet
The family pet is the #1 reason to fence yards. When considering fencing for your companions, a combination of space and safety are priorities in design. Though most fences are "dog fences", many require some additional materials and some are built solely for this purpose.
Chain Link
Chain link fence is the choice for many residences and commercial locations. Though chainlink comes in a number of sizes, the standard for dog fence is 2 1/4" square, "diamonds" set on 1 5/8" line posts and 2" post terminals. Chainlink fence always has a 1 3/8" top rail and coated wire which is tensioned and ring-tied along the bottom. Finshes can be galvanized grey, black or green.
